Roush belts

Hey guys just wondering if you could help ...
I have a 6.2 with the roush phase 2 supercharger and I recently blew my stock belt the kit came with ... Threw another on and it lasted about 3 WOT and stripped half off, put another on and bam same thing ... Checked all the pullies and they look and feel good. I had about 5k kms on the first belt but now it's shredding them!! I do have my shift firmness high think that's what it is ?

Are you positive it's properly seated? Sounds silly but an easy way to shred a belt.

Man I triple checked the belts and they were perfectly on and my tensioner is tight as a mouses ear ... I am not a weak guy and I can barely release it.. Or is that the problem????

Check the pulley alignment using a straight edge. Check the alignment of the tensioner through the full ark of movement. If you are shredding belts the pulleys are not aligned.

My stock tensioner bent and cracked but it wasn't visually noticeable until I took it off. I upgraded to a thump rrr tensioner and no longer have belt squeel between shifts.
