It will take a lot to get that kind of hp out of a roush ..... You should have went with pro charger, I have a roush on my 6.2 but I am not looking for a race truck, just a faster daily driver .. If you want more power out of that 5.0 you could get some headers, high flow cats and a good exhaust, smaller pulley, bigger injectors and a good tune ...

You better be ready to spend some money. The TVS blower will get you there with no problem. Your rods will not. You should not push the stock motor past 13psi or roughly 550rwhp.

The ProCharger base kit for the 6.2 is the D-1SC and a 3-core. The Raptor kits put out over 600 HP. Stage II includes a RACE IC. Then we can upgrade to the F-series and put out similar power levels to what you want to achieve.
The 5.0 in our trucks is a high CR engine. A P-1SC-1 and low boost levels are included in the base kits. We gained 194 HP at 7 PSI with no timing advance.

Go with a Whipple kit. You won't regret it. Base kit is 600hp like the PC. With custom tuning JDM is making 525rwhp. Whipple also has warranty packages of all different mileage and years to choose from if you want. Better torque curve too!

Had to replace a shaft o-ring, covered under warranty but still...um I cracked the intake hat once .. And I was getting gear oil in my intake which we found was an impeller seal.. Not saying I don't like them because they are great for hp but I like the instant power with the roots blower..

I don't think you would regret it either. Whipples are powerful. No debate, just a few facts about me. I choose ProCharger for the best bang for the buck, ambient charge temps, and upgradability. From base kit to full race applications. We can do an F-series on a built engine and have documented 700/700 on Chris's Intech DOHC 5.4. At 4900 (Redline is 7000). And with a 5:1 step up, no lack of bottom end. Then there are two blowers larger than that. But we can mount an F-3 on the stock bracket. At 80 MPH, this truck will incinerate the street tires. ProCharger offers a 3/36 system warranty, and they also offer a 5/50 POWERTRAIN warranty! Installation is 5-6 hours on the ProCharger 5.4 3-valve, as opposed to 10+ hours on a positive displacement or SCREW.
With that Whipple intake you won't end up with truck that can't breath past 4900rpm lmao!
Install time 10hrs??? Lol. Why on earth would it take that long. The only difference in the kits is removal on the intake manifold. If it takes a person 4hrs to that they should sell there tools and take up golfing.
Alright Crash, your turn. Haha
