The trailblazer SS is available with rwd and awd like you want. That's exactly what I would be getting if I could choose. They're still pretty darn expensive though. At least all the ones at my dealership have been expensive, but they're all low miles and good shape.

Do you really need awd though? Cause you'll still have your truck if you get off the highway or something in the winter, but I don't know if you're in a more rural area.

And is this sleeper deal more of a preference for you, or do you legitimately not want to be on cops' radars? I would think a Mustang, etc would be fun and the truck can be the sleeper. It's like these two vehicles will be satisfying the same sleeper function/role, instead of branching out and having different functions.
good point about the fun car and f150 sleeper and that SUV would be branching out

check that vid, pretty sick eh? I've never seen and AWD burnout..

That would be SO much fun! Those things are so badass and they can scoot at the track too. The sound amazing with a cam as well. The huge aftermarket available makes it for me

I've never seen an awd one at the track only 2wds. I respect them and have seen some really badass ones. However is basically same situation you are in with a blown truck. Not a sleeper 'car' by any means

Sleepiest Sleeper - Ever:

Isetta - with a Hayabusa engine dropped into it.

Handlin' - not so great. But stoplight - stoplight them ear-pierced punks in Camaros will never know what hit 'em

Whoops! So much fer the site's Image Resizer - place is fallin' apart, lol.

My personal fav sleeper car was a 73 Mercury Grand Marquis lowered 2 in black detrimmed with a TRW 429 under the hood people never saw it coming . Got about 3mpg on a good day but what a blast to drive I never took it to a track but would bet it was low 12's high 11's not bad for 4000 lbs of Detroit iron.

They also don't get out of their own way with any stock engine they came with.

Going back to Subaru - the STI is not exactly a sleeper, but if you can find a Legacy GT spec.B that's a sleeper. The 06's are almost impossible to find, they only built 500 of them, but the 07's had a 6 speed stick and book around 18k.

EDIT: The regular GT Limited has the same engine, but with a 5 speed or automatic.

I was gonna say a SHO also. I had a 96 that hauled *** for a sedan. Maybe you could find an old 80s escort and drop a motor from a SHO in that biotch. Light weight car with good power from that engine. I bet that would haul some azz!! Or maybe a Fairmont with a BBF! Now were talking....
