just curious if anyone on here is running the E-Force supercharger? I have searched but no luck yet, I do a lot of towing and want something that keeps Torqaue on the low side, plus I heard that it doesn't have that dreaded Whine that others do because the the Eaton twin screw setup. so I am just curious if anyone has it and tows with it, I want the EcoBoost but I don't want a new truck payment.

and if you want low end torque then the ecojoke platform is not for you
YOU HEARD THE EFORCE WAS QUIET???
Sorry for yelling but i wanted to make sure you heard me over the whine.
Not to mention the whining of a pissed off customer. $6-7k for 386rwhp

I would be pissed with those numbers too. For $1500 less, the ProCharger at 9 PSI made 349/392 on a 2005. 30 RWHP less. The E-Force costs $6059 and with the rebate, $5559. The Procharger is $500 less (MSRP), and if you buy by Halloween, you may qualify for a $500 rebate check from ProCharger.

And the low end is impressive and as far as charge temps, I was driving last night air charge was struggling to get above 60 mainly stayed in the low 50 I'd say my heatexchanger is the ticket if I just had a pump like twinskrewed had the air charge would be even cooler, as towing goes I went up i77 to fancy gap and it's a. 7 percent grade 7 miles long pulling atleast 8500 pounds with 2 adults over 200 pounds and maintained 62-65 in 3rd gear turning 3000 rpms, a pro charger I'd have been in second gear the whole just like I was stock, this truck even with a tune has always impressed me back about a year ago I went up the same hill pulling my 28 foot enclosed car trailer with 4 wheelers in it about 6500 lbs and was able to maintain 70 mph with pedal left I was in second gear barely touching gas and this was all motor with tune, there is a lot they say the 5.4 is week I disagree may not be the fastest truck but pulls well, and to the thread starter I had same intent wanted a ecoboost, so I made my own 5grand is cheaper than. 50 grand

Crash I posted the truckin mag post for dyno results http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/engin...viewall.htmlnd and the Lethal performance link http://www.lethalperformance.com/whi...FUPl7AodNGUAUQ for price reference. $6000 plus for any of these systems is total BS. Two years ago JDM dropped a black friday special: Whipple Kits shipped to your door for $3400. Thats also what I paid for mine used 4 years ago.
Regardless the power and price is there with the Whipple. Over 50 more hp at the wheels and over 60 lbft of torque. No way I'd do anything else other than a turbo.

Those E-Force blowers ain't too shabby and not to be sniffed at.
I had a good look around one during my Dyno session. They need mods thou. The intercooler tank for instance is tiny and should be replaced etc etc.
