OK, I give up........Its not 270-300.......

So what rwhp does a stock NA 2-valve 5.4 ('03) produce? Approximately how much additional should I expect with Eaton M112 swap, 10 lbs boost, everything OEM L (airbox, heat exchanger, etc) except cat back?

The last performance tune I made to my 5.4 3V was done by Troyer(email x-cal 3 custom perf 91 octane). It seemed to perform better and cost $125 less than what I was quoted by the previous tuner. He takes care of the little details. For example, I always use to turn off OD when getting on the FWY, just in case of slow traffic, no down shift. Now, it wants to hold each gear just right. Didn't do that stock or with the previous tune, just a small detail, but it made a difference to me.

I know the 3V's were around 230 or so at the rear. Who cares, 10 lbs of boost will get you and ear to ear grin.

So what is currently recommended in the fuel delivery department if you are going for a 5.4 3v daily driver with a screw type 8 psi blower?

We'll 8 psi on a 5.4 3v I'd use. 39 pound cobra injectors they can be bought used for just over 100 bucks, if new if go 47lb injectors and the pump is safe up to 10 pounds is what I'm told, I should know tomorrow as I tune my 5.4 3v with a new Whipple with 8psi pulley and my monster heat exchanger as I'll be towing

I went gt500 47lb injectors but had to buy injector hats because they are to short for our fuel rail. I bought them because they are flow matched. They now have 47lb injectors that fit without hats but I'm not sure if they are flow matched.

We'll the truck runs great, accept fail safe mode, anyways the heat exchanger does a superb job last night it was 59-60 degrees air charge while driving was low 80s and during pulls under boost didn't really change much, it will go up hills know in 3rd while towing and increase speed were before it would be in second gear maintaining speed, I need to work on gas mileage but towing the mileage has not really suffered, but we are no were near done tuning, gotta get Fail safe figured out

I just called Troyer, talked to Michael, I was asking if they could update my tune with a 4lbs under drive pulley (that I already purchased through JDM, I already have the 2.8 upper) and without the BAP

here is how it went:
Me: can you update the tune with the pulley and without the BAP?
Michael: why do you want to remove the BAP?
Me: I'm getting very bad mileage ie. 6-8mpg and dyno places, forums, other tuners are recommending me to remove it
Michael: are these people specialized only in trucks tuning?
Me: probably
Michael: Troyer is the world's best F150 tuner, so he knows what he is doing
Me: *silence* *scratching head, really?*
Me: so why should I keep this BAP, I was told that my roush blower doesn't requires as much fuel
Michael: any blower on a truck require more fuel because they supercharge the truck, so you will absolutely need a BAP in order to make the blower to work properly, without the BAP your fuel pump will be maxed out
Me: several people told me that the pump doesn't get maxed out with a roush blower
Michael: have you checked your spark plugs?
Me: its the roush plugs that came with the kit
Michael: you need to change them, they are not designed with a custom tune
Me: so when I sent you the form and I specified that I had the roush plugs, why is it that you didn't tell me that?
Michael: they can still work, but not as well
Me: so which plugs do I need?
Michael: brisk spark plug silver racing heat range 12, $120 + shipping
Me: I'll get back to you on that, about the tune, could you ask Mike to give me an update?
Michael: Troyer will not update your tune, you need to keep this BAP
Me:ok
Michael: and the under drive pulley will blow up your engine
Me: really!? how?
Michael: we don't recommend installing a lower pulley but we can sell you one if you really want one
Me: I already have it
then I insisted to get a follow up from Mike, Michael told me to call back tomorrow

he also told me that I should try a different gas station, right now my tune is for 92, and I get the costco 92, he told me I should go with Shell or BP

thoughts?
should I keep or disconnect that BAP? JDM sent me a custom tune without the BAP because they said that I don't need a BAP
will the 4lbs pulley blow up my engine?

That sux because I never studied mechanics and I get day and night stories from different places

Costco gas is CRAP. That's about the only thing he said that I agree with.
