Too be honest I didn't keep track. Its probably in the $4500 to $5500 ballpark. You can definitely get it cheaper than that tho. I bought all high-end parts to make sure it will last (Garrett, Turbowerx, Turbosmart). My biggest mistake was buying everything before the build as I had to change parts or had excess parts after the build. I wasted 3" pipe to the turbo because I went down to 2.75", wasted some aluminum tubing for the PCV system as I used a breather instead, Took out the intercooler as that dropped 5psi alone. Lots of learning leasons

I will take some pics after the new motor is in!

Grats on a cool build. Might I suggest you find some way to shield the oil return line off the turbo. If you play in the bush I would be afraid that you might snag it on something.

with same stock engine, and both maxed out HP engine internals, which is faster at the quarter mile, supercharger or turbo?

way too many variables to even come close to an educated guess on that random question

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for some advice on the pre-turbo exhaust on the truck. Currently i have ceramic headers with deleted cats on the factory exhaust tubing until the Y-Pipe on the passenger side, then there is a 6' run of 2.75 tubing. to the turbo.

I'm looking at putting in 2.25" from the headers on both sides (i think 2.5" is factory) into a Y pipe then 2.5" out to the turbo. Reason is i would like my spool to be in the 2,700 or 2,800 RPM instead of 3,000 RPM. Should work or will it restrict exhaust flow / affect performance?

Turbo is a 61mm P-Trim BB Turbo with a .70 A/R

Well im going to hold off the exhaust for a little bit. I was accelerating pretty hard up a hill from a stop and then i heard a loud snap then grinding

Something happened in the rear differential, im hoping its just the spider gears and not the ring and pinon cause it has 4.10's. Looking at getting the Detroit TruTrac for replacement.

The quest continues
