Procharger bypass tubing
Procharger bypass tubing
My bypass tubing needs to be repaired/replaced. Where do I get some and what has anybody used instead of it? Thanks in advance for your kind replies.
Power steering fluid drips on it. I have Mad's rubber elbow installed and the tubing is routed à la JMC not Procharger.
I was thinking of going with 3 inch tubing from the blower to the 3 core inter cooler and from that to the TB. I would then have a bung welded on the tube coming out of the blower to mount the bypass valve and run the hose from there to the Elbow.
What do you think?

I don't think you'll be disappointed and might aid in subtracting boost lag
Crash I have a buddy in town that bends tubing. He spent a fortune on a mandrel bender. To top it off he also welds anything. Stainless, aluminum....

The french text was written by someone who's mother tongue is not french. But no matter it is fun to use the language. The individual was inquiring if there was a francophone F150 community in Canada. I replied "Not as far as I know." FYI all of my computer keyboards are French Canadian. Even my laptop.
Merde!
I've been found out.
But I do like to use my bad French, and Canadian French has a wonderful "broad" accent. I spent some time in Quebec, and liked the place and the people very much. Toronto is cool, too. Canucks are The Bomb.

BBK I think it is an 80mm. I would have to ask Neal. Some of his stuff is on my truck. BTW my S&B filter has arrived. Will install today while chasing down a rich code. I suspect an air leak between the MAF and Throttle body......
Already did the Propane test, no joy. New O2 sensors. The carbon canister is clear of any fuel. Fuel pressure is up to spec. Last thing I can think of is fuel injectors or faulty wiring or PCM.
Found the Leaks! MAD's elbow has leaks where the IAC tube and the vent for the cam cover bungs meet at the elbow.
Now in all fairness to MAD the kit I purchased had his elbow and the larger crank pulleys included. The pulley was missing the adapter to mate it to the factory crank pulley. The rubber elbow had the metal tubes for the above hoses pulled out of the elbow and it looked like someone had tried to silicone them back in. I removed them and used a brass garden hose repair end that I siliconed in. These fittings lasted for over 3 years of my abuse. The oil from the can cover eventually weakened the bond of the silicone to the elbow and they leaked. I re-sealed them and the codes have gone away.
I have two solutions in mind. First one is to use
with a nut and washers in the elbow. The other is to use 4" exhaust pipe bent in a U and weld the required fittings.

Thanks for the offer but didn't follow the Procharger instructions as to where to position the tubing. Mine doesn't go under the frame but over top oft it. I switched a few things around.
