Trying Brisk Plugs and other goodies

So today I changed the oil Mobil 1 EP 5w30 and a Mobil 1 EP filter. I also installed a set of Brisk plugs for the first time. Very pleased thus far. Truck is strong as hell and idles silky smooth. A huge improvement over the HTO's which were fouled out on the dyno last November. I have loved the HTO and Mike Troyer was very gracious in sending me a set of either HTO or Brisk. It was no ones fault but he wanted to do it and that means a lot. Going to be interesting to see how they hold up compared to the HTO's and how they perform at the strip. I have also ordered an Autometer Trans temp gauge, Roush exhaust tips, new O2 sensors front only, and an inline trans filter.
Can't wait to get this stuff on and hit the track this spring

I like the Brisk plugs. Do you really have issues with liquids getting in your intake box?

Wish my engine looked that clean, mine is a nice white and gray from all the stinking salt on the roads up here, yours looks good.

We are still waiting on some new times from the track from you since your new found power, good luck whenever you hit the track.

Tim

No never any water in the box. I purchased this to keep the K&N clean. Less cleaning. I love that stuff just bounces off. Here's some more info from their site. I picked this one up @ Troyers last November.

Outerwears Pre-Filters are designed to keep out larger particles of street debris such as rubber, dirt, and sand from getting into and clogging the pleats of air filter elements. Premature clogging of an air filter will result in loss of horsepower and an increase in service intervals. Outerwears pre-filters are uniquely designed to protect your engine and the performance air filter investment without sacrificing airflow or horsepower. Particles as small as .005" are filtered out extending filter life. Even in harsh conditions including heavy moisture, an Outerwears Pre-filter will enhance your filter's ability to continue flowing the necessary air required for maximum performance while reducing the possibility of water ingestion into the engine. Proper use of an Outerwears Pre-filter will save money on filter cleanings or replacements and extend engine life. Customers are reporting increased fuel efficiency.

Have fun doing the passenger side O2 plug/clip! My big hands and the tight space made it quite difficult. Lol

Got the trans temp gauge installed. Used my ole Roush vent pod to mount the trans temp.

that pic tells me I've had more problems with my engine than I understand or ever figured out. cruising I always hovered less than 5" and always close to the breaking point. Never have found a vacuum leak.
