Should I buy??

I have a guy selling me an OE SC kit off a HD Truck for $400.00. He says it missing the lower intake. I'm sure I'm going to end up spending a few more hundred bucks but trying to figure out if it's worth it. Or if the price is not so great ??
Kit includes
SC
throttle body
Pulleys
Intake
Wiring
Timing chain and cover

If the motor its off of is a 3V like yours than you should be able to work it out. Can you locate the parts you need that are not included? You will need someone to tune it for you. Sorry, I don't know much about the Harley supercharged truck but I figured I throw something out there. If the supercharger is in good shape than I think the price is good.

If the supercharger is from a 2003 or lower HD F150 then it will NOT work. If the said supercharger is from a 2004 and newer F150 then is will work. You would just have to get the remaining parts for the install. Then get a bigger fuel pump. injectors, throttle body, MAF, and a good dyno tune from Mike Troyer.

Stock fuel pump would be fine. You would have to up the boost to around 10psi to need an upgrade there.

The only OE supercharged Harley trucks were 02 and 03. Therefor it will not work on your 05!

Phil's right, but in addition I think 08's (optional) had it, some Foose's, Roush and optional on 09/10's also saw it as optional.

It's a good deal for someone with a 2 valve 5.4!

A little search shows that 07 and 08 HD trucks were available with the Saleen supercharger, so its possible but for the price of it I'm doubting its from one of those years but who knows.

the '02-'03 Harley trucks were the only ones factory supercharged

the others were dealer options
