On my old 2v with 23 lbs of boost thru an air to air intercooler and meth pre blower and pre TB my IAT was 40* with an ambient temp in the shop of 75*. If you set up the meth correctly you could get close to those number without an intercooler.

 

IAT of 40* in 75* ambient = 35* below ambient? WOW! that's impressive.

I would be happy with 20-30* over ambient when under boost.
