I ordered the coolingmist system with the 200psi and digital progressive controller based on boost with the round gauge which also displays the boost so I can mount it in the steering wheel pod instead of the boost gauge which I have there now.

I mounted the IAT sensor in the silicon elbow going into the S/C. I will then mount the coolingmist nozzle in the bung in the discharge tube pointing straight towards the throttle body. I am not aiming it to spray on the IAT sensor to lower it's temp, but only into the discharge to cool the charge intake temp.
The IAT sensor in the discharge tube now is not hooked up and is only there to plug the hole.

The timing and A/F ratios are adjusted correctly with the Delta Force tuner. I am not running the stock tune.

he doesn't need a dyno to figure that out, but for sure without an a/f wideband setup he's for sure going to vent the block with ease hence teaching his son about supercharging properly the hard way

Yea, the Innovate Motorsports Digital MTX Series Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge is going on now. Definitely NO WOT runs! Just gentle, mostly with no boost to shake down for loose bolts, belts, clamps, air leaks, etc. So far so good. I don't want to put that forged stroker 5.0L ported heads long block in now. No block windows or vent for me.

This week the meth/water injection will go on next. There after I think I will go to this place Collingtonperformance.com for some tuning. Anyone have any experience with them?

If you're gonna run merge you must run an iat sensor so you can tune in your safety measures. Alcohol injection systems make the best systems out there hands down. I have used 2 of there systems. 1 on a 700hp 2v build with a novi 2000 and the other on a 1000hp sbf with nitrous. For best cooling spray before the supercharger and before the tb.

Got a little more info. Loaded the 'Delta Force' program and took it out for the shake down and all was well - rechecked all bolts and connections and clamps and everything was fine.

Went out again and mildly (not WOT) got into it and there was light detonation at 4lbs and got out of it. Tried 91 and 87 octane tunes (I have 93 in the tank) and still light detonation at 4 lbs and AFR of like 13.8 (too lean). Reprogrammed richer and took out 2 degrees timing and tried again. Now AFR at idle 14.8, light throttle 14.8, 2-3 lbs 11.8 and no detonation. Inched a bit more throttle and still with AFR 11.6-8, finally saw 7lbs at 5000rpm. Will test and follow some more tomorrow. As long as there is no detonation/knock I am happy for now.

Later I can add the meth injection and lean it a bit to ?about 12.5 and then add in a little timing.

Meth/water injection came today. Will try and install this week. Probably put the nozzle just before the TB, it just works out better there. Big, heavy 200psi pump should mount down low passenger front fender area and draw from the windshield washer tank.

Make sure you put the IAT sensor after the nozzles so you can tune the computer to retard timing if the meth doesn't spray due to failure or you run out.

I finally lengthened the IAT wire and connected it to the sensor in the d/c tube after the s/c. Findings on a 40 degree outside temp and engine up to 190 degrees, cruising around no boost and the IAT reads 60-65 degrees for a 20-25 degree rise over ambient. Under boost WOT 7 lbs saw 115 degrees for a 75 degree rise above ambient.

So if it was 90 degrees outsid, would I see +75 degrees or 165 degrees IAT?

Hooking up the meth injection tomorrow and will remeasure the IATs.

What are some IAT's everyone is seeing?

now you know why you need an intercooler

I hope the meth helps out like it has for everyone else

On my Syclone I ran the larger water intercooler and a larger pump and front heat exchanger.

My boats I ran the largest spearco intercooler and enclosed it for water-air. It is like 12x24x6 inches. I brought the charge temp down to within 10 degrees of seawater. Great when water is 60 degrees and ambient is 100+ degrees.

I mocked up an intercooler for it. Is it big enough?? I think I might need a cowl hood...

Thanks, I will address that for you on a 'Detailing' thread.

What are your IAT readings?
