Do you guys think this would be a good idea? I am looking to buy a procharger and the deal is great! What things should I consider asking the seller? I know its used but did the seller buy it used? That kind of stuff? I wonder how many miles are on the blower?

even if the blower has an oil seal leak its like 25 bucks for the seal. i bought a used kit and i had it 2 years before the oil seal started to leak.

Ask him how many miles are on it and if he bought it new.
I was wandering if it would fit my 4.6 Grand Marquis? lol

He said he bought it from a guy that had it on a 98 f150. Not sure what eng. He also said the previous owner with the 98 had about 4000 miles on it. The present owner said he never ran it. I think I am going to buy it and start piecing everything I need to install it.

I also asked what inter cooler it has but I am waiting for a response. He said all I would need it the belt and injectors.

I plan on running 42# injectors, 90mm svt MAF, 255lph pump, a smaller head pulley for 12#'s of boost along with the ATI crank pulley. The only thing I dont know about is what bypass valve to get but this will way down the road. I am probably going to send it in to ATI and have it rebuilt. What do you guys think? Will this setup work?

It should fit your truck.
I would recommend getting the biggest crank pulley you can find and adjust your boost after that if you need more with a smaller head pulley.
The smaller head pulley you use,,the more belt slip you will have.
So try to build the boost with the crank pulley in order to avoid belt slip!

The 42# injectors,90mm Mass air and fuel pump(255) is the best way to set it up with custom tuning.

If you don't get it, I might make you a deal on my old setup...

What is your old set up? If its more complete and has better parts I will consider buying yours first.
