Edelbrock E Force

Does anyone have the Edelbrock E Force Supercharger Kit installed yet? Is it worth the money? Does it perform as advertized? I read where it is supposed to increase horsepower on a 2010 F-150 with a 5.4 from 310 to about 478 h.p. and turn it into a torque monster. It looks like a really nice kit with an Eaton Blower. They also say the horsepower is made at low and safe boost levels with no chance of over stressing the engine. Any feedback either positive or negative would be greatly appreciated.

It's basically the same design as the saleen blower(designed by the same people).

The 487HP is if you take the kit to them and let them install/tune if I understand correctly.

Unless they came down in price, there are blowers on the market that will do the same or more for much less.

Its a lot of hype and quite frankly down right lying. As it turns out there blower is no more effiecient than the Roush and makes the same power at the same boost levels as the Roush blower. In addition all of the goodies it comes with on the Mustang kit are not included on the truck kit. Here is a great thread on the subject. https://www.f150online.com/forums/su...t-e-force.html

Btw the gentlemen who started this thread bought a Whipple.
