If I were you ,I would call Whipple and ask them.

I'm gonna say it has something to do with there tuning.

I think this is why so many people lean towards the Edelbrock kit just like me, it gets a little confusing when you have to buy the kit and then try and figure out what other parts you need to add to the kit then find a place to get it tuned. I am not a novice but when you can buy everything you need in one kit, anything that breaks the confusion is worth a little extra I just don't know about 2K more.

I will do some more research on the Whipple but I want to be able to do it my self because I know I can.
I beleive thre might need to be a reloaction bracket modified and a tune. JDM has done several 2010 whipple trucks so they can point you in the right direction...

My saleen kit was not designed for a 2004 F-150, but with some very slight modifications it works fine.

Awesome will have to look into it. I am actually kind of bummed really wanted the edelbrock kit, but after more research the 2010 kit does not come with alot of the things they advertise and since my truck is a 4x4 there is an additional $405 hardware kit you have to buy which would push the kit close to 7K for me.

I may just wait but I don't know how many more people are gonna come out with complete kits since most of the focus is on the new motors.

I want a complete kit sent to my door I can put on and not have to modify just bolt it on. I am very savy on working on my trucks but have not reached the ability to modify for my applications kits not meant for them.

Thanks OP and everyone for the help.
