Finally...... Whipple Installed

This morning I finally got the time to install my new Whipple. Install went pretty good, only fell off the truck once and cut my elbow open. Don't worry, I didn't get any blood on the Whipple. Took it for a little drive and all I can say is WOW. I never even got on it more than 40-50% as the roads around here were a little wet and slick, but the power felt really good. Right now I'm only running the factory injectors. I have a set of 39# for it but I'm waiting for a new tuner and program before I install them. I just couldn't wait any longer, its been sitting in my garage for over two weeks. Now I need to finish installing the gauges and get the 39's in it and wait for some dry roads. I'll have to do a little testing on it on Thursday. All in all, I am pretty happy with it.

I have my kit and am building an engine first. While assembling the front cover, I can't seem to find the spacer for the small idler pulley. Where was your spacer packed? I think they missed mine.

My spacer washer was in a bag with the small idler pulley and the lower barcket for the coolant tank.

Congrats! But I must tell you that with the 39's and a custom tune the dry pavement won't help...

Thanks, I guess I will just have to use the 4 wheel drive more often. It sure does have interesting sound when you get on it, a little different than I was expecting. I'm a little more used to the centrifugals sound. But I sure do like it a lot.

It's music to my ears! The whine of a blower, the whistle of a turbo, and the rumble of a Harley!
