the end to the left goes where your factory leaf spring u bolts go, the end to the right bolts to the hanger

So , Toss the shackles you were using. that end replaces them. What if you where using drop shackles ? Do they have different offerings depending on level of drop ?

The traction bars have nothing to do with the shackle end. You can run any shackle you wish. Calvert even has a kit for lowered trucks and 4x4 trucks. There online catolog is not up to date. I found this out while browsing there paper back that came with the bars. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I guess I was envisioning it backwards. thinking the end that looks similar to a shackle was going to somehow connect to it or replace it. I was tired.

So did you have to get some custom made or do they sell the 1000 already? I want some install pics and a review lol. I either am doing these (if they work) or custom long bars.

they look good, I'm going to need some for my truck now that I've regeared. Any idea of price for a 4x4 set?

I'm anxious to see pics. I'm having a hard time visualizing how the front mount attaches. I'm also be anxious to hear if these bars have any noise related issues.

Are you having wheel hop issues with the street tires or just with your drag radials? I don't have any wheel hop issues with my street tires and that big block between the spring and axle in the 4x4s would seem to make any wheel hop issues worse.

I'm interested to hear your results. Some lightning guys hate them, some love them.

Yes. Installed them last weekend. Between crappy weather and a cold I haven't taken the time to take pics. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice and I'm feeling a little better, so I'll get some shots.
