ROUSH Heavy Duty 4.6L 3V Belt Tensioner

http://www.blowbyracing.com/rohedu43vbet.html

Anyone used one of these? From my understanding it will bolt up to our 5.4 3v trucks as well...

Apparently a little bit stronger spring, and the arm doesn't flex as much.

There is also these...

Yeah I'm not sure if we really have that big of a problem as we are running auto's and not manuals.

You could always have a shop TIG some gussets and aluminum bar to the arm.

Here's one that might work for ya. No flex to this baby. Kinda pricey though.

You are breaking them on your truck? Is your belt way to tight?

Here is the UPR that just came in, stocker compared to the UPR, there is a definite weight difference. I can only imagine what the thump rrr weighs.

I had to modify mine per Whipple instructions but havent noticed it being weak. I just changed my belt and it still seemed pretty strong. Does the saleen set up use stock tensioner or do you have to modify it?

X2 mine is tight as hell. However I do get some belt slip. Not a lot but its there. I'm really wanting a larger crank pulley and keep the 3.125 on the Whipple. I'm ready for more boost!
