Yea, well I want it to look stock, If it turns out to be to much, Ill just scrap the idea and go with a 97-02 Expedition. or just get an 03, and throw a whipple, intake exhaust and tune and call it a day.

I just dont want to spend a whole lot on something that will be used during winter months etc. I just want the extra power to screw around a little every once in a while

Do you think it be easier to do the L s/c swap onto the expy then it would be to the gt500 s/c on the navigator.

Interesting thread to resurrect, but wouldn't it be easier to find a set of adapter plates to put a Lightning lower intake on the 4v Navi motor and then go with whatever Lightning based blower you want along with the supporting mods (fuel pump, injectors, pulleys, sensors, etc)? Given the availability of parts out there, even though the GT500 is a 4v too, with the differences, it would seem that using Lightning parts would be the cheaper and easier way to go with an upgrade like this (or am I just totally off base with this train of thought)?

after all these years, we have not been able to use adapter plates to use a wider intake manifold on a narrower platform

we even have a midplate that uses the H122 on the Lightning lower intake

but science is still puzzling

Are you saying that the intake for a 2v is wider than the intake for a 4v?

I was unaware of this fact. Is there a company who can take a terminator lower intake and modify it to fit a navigator 4v motor? If so, what else would be required to complete the supercharger setup on one?

you have to modify a pulley bridge

coolant cross over, etc

and the cost for an actual production piece will be upwards of $1800

Ouch......$1800 makes me think that a centrifugal blower is looking like a better and better idea....
