No, but you need a good tuner.

I believe you need to extend a wire for an IAT sensor and choose a coolant temp sensor to tune off of

I have a tuner figured out, did that before i even started to think of buying parts for the swap.

I thought that was all i had to do was extend the IAT wire and i would be good. My swap that i bought came with the harness but if i dont *need* it, i wont use it.

Once i get everything together ill be starting a "hey, look what im doing" thread... if anyone wants to follow it

Thank you for the fast responses

Keep the N/A harness, its much easier to deal with. You need to extend the IAT and i think possible the IAC plug and thats it!

This assumes you are taking a L ECM or Tranny or fuel hat!!!! Which you do not need, but some do.

Make sure your tuner has done this swap before.

Ill be using Speed Shop Specialtys in Blaine, MN as its only a few hours drive from me. He said he has done these before when i spoke to him a few months back, but if he cant do it i have other means of tuning

Once i get home this evening ill be posting pictures of what i have so far. Im also building a built motor for it at the same time. my bank account hates me and i havent even got to the internals yet

Yep! I got them. I have a second motor out of a 02 n/a that I'm putting forged internals in.
