Naw, didn't have too, the 4.6 could have handled it, especially going to 6.72 gears, if i were to keep it a mall crawler... But, I plan on putting this in a few sloughs, ponds, and pits though

when i had 5.38's and spool, in the 1tons i could white smoke my tires up past 100mph(2 wheel drive)but when i put it in water/mud over 4' my truck would fall on it's face and not get over 1,800 rpms.

So now add a 500+ hp motor, 6.72 gears, and a truck at the same weight as yours, with 52's....

23.1 x 26 r2's is where the blowers gonna really shine (65" tractor tires)

Hey guys figured I'd bring this back up from the dead...

Fixen to start putting the motor together, and plan on taking plenty of pictures, sorry that all the others were deleted, but Photobucket screwed over my account, and I don't feel like Editing all my posts. If theres any pics you want let me know and I get them for you.

things still needed for assembly...

* piston rings
* Timing cover gasket
* Arp main studs
* Assembly Lube

I'm shooting for Christmas to get it together and put in the truck, well see how true that stands.

Getting to the point of the build I need the truck together to figure out where everything will be placed. Then I'll more than likely strip it back down to put all the final touches on everything.

And if anybody has any questions, ask... I'll do my best to answer.

I know I'm gonna have plenty of them for ya'll to help assist, my retarded ***
