Troyer Valve Body Kit

Yes I realize i should probably post this on the tranny side but I want tips from folks who are making horsepower. I just ordered a Troyer kit and was just wondering what things some of you guys have done to help the tranny hold up under the higher levels of power.

Thanks? Congrats on v4.1.

Why should it specifically say active remote coolers?

Usually, "active" is used to describe a cooler that has an integral fan. That way it is "active", that is cooling, whether the vehicle is moving or not.
In terms of a valve body...yes. A well designed and built valve body can vastly improve your vehicle performance and transmission longevity. I have over 100K, 12 psi boost, and original tranny and engine. I use a BC Automotive valve body. Had a Factory Tech, but a piece of snap ring trashed it.

In my opinion, the only thing the little tranny cooler with the fan is good for is sitting in traffic!

I put the big super duty trans cooler in my truck and it stays around 150*
Not my truck , but this is the one I run.
