Forged crank, rods and pistons. Do I need anything else?

I dont race, so not worried about max power, more worried about getting a set of cams that will run smooth and wont hurt my ability to tow. Also, I have the troyer valve body, how does that affect me getting these cams or a different set of cams?
That cam is the Stage 1 VSR cam up in the list I just posted.

Father's right. Mustangs are cheap at first, but when you want to start hanging with the big boys it gets just as expensive. And my feelings about chevy's go a lil something like this. Why get a Camaro, when you can get a Corvette for just a lil more money. My next car well be a Corvette or a GT500. Especially since you can now get a 07-08 GT500 with 5k on the odometer, for right at 30k.

The Whipple already runs at several times faster than crankshaft speed, you can only go so high before you get too much heating for the increase in compressing. Heated air takes more space and therefore seems to be more boost, but your available oxygen is not any greater. See how that works?.....
Qurious as to why the Whipple had a hard time creating a denser charge than other types of forced induction?

Whipple kits include an intercooler, so I'm a bit confused by that remark.

If you notice the entire rest of that post was made in ignorance not knowing anything about the 5.4 or cost of parts. While its true all the boost in the world is useless if its hot the twinscrew blowers run much cooler than the roots. His comment about the speed in which it spins is hilarious! All blowers and turbos spin several times faster than the crank. Boost creates heat but the efficiency of the blower and intercooler have a lot to do with how much heat reaches the combustion chamber. I choose my Whipple based on its ability to produce power from idle to redline at the coolest temps.
