I would like to put a lightning s/c on it as I have found but am wondering what all I am going to need to complete this? Is my compression too high? Is there a bolt on pulley and tensioner? Is there a factory intercooler? Do I need a special tune? Will it be smog legal in california? Is the TPS compatible? Are the injectors that come with it compatible? Is my fuel pressure regulator ok?How much HP can I expect? Did I forget anything?

Do a search for a list of parts needed to perform the swap. This questions comes up once or twice a week. I'm not that versed on the Lightning swap, but I'll answer what I can.

Your compression is not too high.

Yes, there are pulley's to drive the supercharger. The supercharger has a separate belt from the main belt that drives other accessories.

The factory unit is intercooled. Stock and aftermarket heat exchangers are out there and easy to find.

Absolutely you will need a tune. The Lighting comes with larger injectors and MAF that will have to be programmed into your PCM.

The Lightning was legal in 50 states. I would say it depends on how the emmission laws are written in CA. I would think you can get anything that is not OEM certified.

Injectors that came with the Lightning are compatable in that they can be used in the fuel system, but proper values and parameters for those injectors have to be entered in the PCM.

You fuel pressure regulator should be okay.

Stock lightning made 360 and 380 horsepower, but you probably don't have the PI heads. This will likely limit performance and the Lightning supercharger might not bolt up to your existing heads. Others may have to answer that.

you'll need adapters (HPS offers NPI to PI adapters for like $45)

do a search on the list of parts you'll need and hit up Mike Dunn

If you use adapters expect the EGR tube to be too short by the hight of the adapter.
