Your tranny should be fine if you have a daily driver. Just install a Factory Tech kit. Now if you going to the drag strip, you would need some major upgrades to be as strong.

Again with OBX headers you need to decide on Y pipe or duals. They do not sell the mid pipes seperately. Truxt me I bought Y for orginal installation, then went duals and had to have pipes made. Not happy now. OBTW same price when you buy.

Check your crank also. It probably is not forged, but it might be. Kellog is the brand for the crank, can't remember the code.

Obx system sell for about 900 on ebay. It will be loud, no cats. With cut outs it will be real loud.

Egr delete is fine but you have to tell your tuner.

For HP look at thread at top of this forum. Factory goes like this, 6 lbs yields 340hp at flywheel and 8 lbs yields 380 with no tune. 500 at the flywheel is easy with 12+ boost, good tune and - would port blower. Cams and head work not required for this output. Strong bottom end is however.

Hope this helps!

ok I know without cats it will be super loud, but put a bigger muffler to make it quiet when i want...then again, Idk how Texas would feel about passing my inspec w/o cats though....plus its for an L, i would need to extend the pipe so it would fit on my larger cab.

I run obx headers with their resonator (that looks like a high flow cat) dual mids through a magnaflow x pipe to sperate straight through 5x8x18(body) magnaflow mufflers with out the bumper tail pipes. Loud but ok. However under load get louder. I clear emissions because they only plug into computer. They have yet to look under truck and at idle its not that loud. Obx cat back system has x pipe and straight through round mufflers exiting with dual pipes in front of tires so they will be very load. OBTW if you need an x pipe, I have an extra used 2.5 in magnaflow for 20 plus shipping.

Yeah,the 4r100 is the L tranny.

I sold one of the LFP separators for 25 bucks shipped!
You will need some kind of oil separator and they are about the cheapest ones out there.
Or you could go to home depot or Lowe's or a hardware store and buy the parts to make the same thing for probably 15 bucks.
