Dyno Run results

o.k. finally got on the dyno after exhaust work (headers and such) and upgrading the lower crank pulley to what appears to be around 2-3 pounds more boost, around a 6% overdrive from my calculations, darn belt looks to be still slipping. The first run is stock (came with kit) air intake assembly, second run is changing out the intake to an open air setup I fabbed out of a spectre CAI for our truck, A/F on the second run was a bit lean on that, 3rd run (marked 4th) is the fabbed intake with fuel bumped to 6% at WOT and we see HP/TQ dropped a bit. Anyone know why it would do that?

here is one of the dyno pulls, it is a cruddy camera that can record for a few minutes, so its not all that great, exhaust does not pulsate like that in person, it's the camera microphone cutting out the sound. Watch the guys sleeve flap in the exhaust towards the end, most of it got him in the face.

the magnacharger is capable of good power, it is just stock the kit makes a girly 5 psi...

Batn68, If the third run is the way the truck is running now, 11.0 is on the rich side, but a very safe a/f, if you can take a tiny bit up fuel out, to make it 11.4-11.5 you will be good! Plus you prolly gain a lil more to the wheels.

It was set at 6% for that third run and this is what it is currently running, the next step down on the SCT would be 4%, do you think that this would be good to go? I also noted that the 6% makes it feel rather sluggish when I mashed the pedal and went into boost, at two percent when I was adjusting the WOT fuel increases before my dyno and running on my ho-made modified intake it felt good, but was lean most likely.

4% may be right in the middle, not lean but not rich..

Wonder if you will make more if you can get it to boost 10 psi and a 11.5ish all the way...

The tuner noted my Stiege sticker on the magna and asked if I just bought the sticker and put it on there? I said yes but that was the most expensive sticker I have ever purchased.

Nice numbers Batn. Did your tuner data log while it was on the dyno? If so, what was your IAT?

No data logging, this was just three pulls on the dyno to see what I was making, I had some previous mods done and wanted to know what my A/F and HP were.
