Eaton+Midplate+Lowerintake What next?
Thanks that would be great wow 12psi that should really make a big dif over the crappy 7 to 9psi i get with the crapydyne i say 7 to 9 psi because the belt slips when it hot so i really look foward to leaving some patchs I really want to abeal to rost my buddys 05 dodge daytona truck it has the v-10 in the qt his wasting me but at a rooling start at 25 and up its pritty close with the eaton and 10 to 12psi i think all take him all over the board LOL nonwoven1@yahoo.com Thanks for your help John
Ok I got the whole set less the heat exchanger and pump and coolant res and a few other little things. Man I got a killer deal on a ultra low mile unit just like Phils pics for dirt cheap I dint really have the extra cash but i cant pass a killer deal by. The guy says it almost $200 to ship I guess it must weigh a lot? Boy i hope this eaton kicks butt. Still wish i had those bad *** trick flow heads!!! Does anyone know if stock intercooler is good enough for 12psi??? I would think it would get hot as hell just like my nonintercooled bell did in my 89 gt. The stang was good for 2 passes then you had to retard the hell out of the timing =( thats the whole reason i dumped over 3K into the Dyne. Still have yet to get my V-1 from Carl I bet the v-1 will be pritty good next to the eaton. I just hope i can still fly on the interstate like i do with the dyne.Boy I would never own a stock Dyne if this moded one is as good as it gets i can only imagine what a suck stock does LOL Im open to all ideas guys so let the comments rip good or bad.
Would think the stock heat excahnger would be fine for 12lb and a road tune. Not sure what how it would work for drag racing. I'm running 16lbs (based on pulley size) with stock exchanger and dialy driver tune. So a little more horsepower in there, but on the road it would be hard to use without slicks. If I floor it at the light the rear end goes up in smoke all the way through second gear at which point I get embaressed and back out of it.
Thats killer Man. Have tryed to ease into it. I had the same problem in my stang took me months of fun to get it down. Do you have a video of your truck in action? And thanks agin for everthing I will post every thing.

With the +4 pully and belt i got off another member I will run 12 psi with a KILLER tune and a snow stage 2 Kit water/meth and yes i love to run Nitro in it too you can feel it even with my current set up. I still need the dam trick flow

Yeah somtimes they work from PHOTOBUCKET and some times they dont I was looking at LFP web site and thinking ill go with an new bosch pump,a high flow water pump,a lfp dual pass heat exchanger,a lfp intercooler, and there new intake elbow/upper plunum that sits on top of the eaton and it comes with abig single butter fly TB for about $550. I still have to track down the tensioning brackets and alt bracket ford used? You have any thing else your looking to part with Phil? Thanks for leading me down a better road I would have been thinking twin centr-blowers after a while LOL

I'm getting ready to swap to a different idler arm so I will have the arm and to stock idler pulleys soon. You would still need the tensioner assembly and pulley.
Right on Phil What ever you have Ill buy and thanks for the info on the waste of time or money. I hate doing things twice or even 3 times LOL
Thanks for the link
Eaton on hold maybe on a 99 Navi for now
I just got off the phone with Carl at 928motorsports and the Super Vortec is almost done. He is taking it light years ahead of Vortec or Ati for that mater. He tracked down some Britsh oil seals that are rated at 150,000 rpms vs. Vortec stock at a crappy 40K. I know this thing is going to kick butt big time hands down!!! Im still building the L swap but im going to slap the L swap on a truck or a 99 or newer what ever the newst Navi is that has the 5.4 SOHC engine. If his Vortec is any thing like his Powerdyne upgrades it will be all smile.
