Does anyone know if I can run a different inake on my roushcharger? the roushcharged kit came with a roush box intake and I think its holding me back

The intake on the Roush intercooled kit is one of the best out there. The Saleen kits are "upgraded" to the same one. What makes you think it's holding you back?

 

I feel like the box style instead of it being open is less productive, its also a very small inlet that pulls air into the box...is doesnt seem to get the the same performance as an open filter siting down there would. the shop that i get most my work done suggest getting a new intake as well...

 

Several of our members are making 400+ with it including Huitt24, FX4 Matt and Fatherford. I don't think it'll hurt a stock blown motor.

 

sounds like its not worth the time or money to use a different intake. thanks for the help.
