i have the dynatech's and you can install them without jacking up the motor and you dont have to take off anything but the starter. the dynatechs are on the expensive side but i found them for 1200 for headers and cats. had to have the y taken out but my exhaust guy cut the y and i ran them dual into the muffler and dual out. the muffler already has an x in it. added another x like huitt but im taking it back out at the first of the year dont like the sound that it makes with the two x's it was quiter with the one and trust me you dont need to mufflers to be quiet they're only extra weight in my opinion.

weazel, My headers work fine the only thing I dont like about them is the gaskets that come with them other than that they are a great header IMO. for 409.49 you cant beat that!
I got the cats from performance peddler they were about 50 each

Magnaflow 3" cats pn#94139 these slip on to the collectors perfectly. I have these on my and my wifes headers.

here is a video of my truck on a dyno along with a bunch of mustangs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKwmjXDDu9o
the first half of the video is still pictures and then the dyno tuning starts, my truck is on there around the 3 minute mark. this gives you an idea of how loud my truck is.

Truck sounds sweet. I wish my Blower would scream like that Blue Gt500 at the end haha. Do you find it drones on the highway?

I think I've figured out what I want for my system.

Dynatech Long Tube Headers # 122-622100A
Magnaflow Highflow Cats #94139
Magnaflow Tru-X Crossover Pipe #10791
Dual Magnaflow 5x8x18 SI/SI Center to Center Mufflers #14146
2.5" Pipe
The Tips from my current 16616 System

Anyone see any flaws in that system?

Truck is pretty mellow on the highway if I keep it at 2K or less.

With the Dynatech headers you may have to drop to the 2.5" maggie cats due to there collector design, other than that you will have a good set up there.

Ya I wish my truck would wine like the GT500, heck I would love to be able to hear my wine over the dang exhaust.....

What Gaskets did you guys use for the pacesetter headers. I read they come with some real cheap ones.

I used the ones that came in the kit but I think you can use the stock ones.

I used the pacesetter gaskets first but they blew out. I am currently using stock exhaust gaskets now with no issues

Can you guys get some pictures of your Y-pipe designs after you put the LT's on. I noticed that if i put them on the cats and Y will set farther back...

Also where can i pick up some O2 extensions?

Not sure if i asked this already, but has any one seen a lost in boost after the install?

my kit came with extenders for the 02's. Stay away from a Y daniel and run duals, I have had both setups with my longtubes and the duals sounds and performs better. Like Huitt said above, use factory manifold gaskets! They work great. Go to your ford house and get some.
