but that takes time and knowledge.

Hopefully this becomes realty.

If I had the money to spare I would get one in a heartbeat. I have a 99 f150 supercab with the 2v 5.4. What kind of power increase would I see from 260/350? I was playing with the idea of getting a lightening engine with low miles when this one bites the dust but seeing as it only has 89,000 miles....that could be a while lol

You could probably add anywhere from 120 to 150 to both of those number and make them at the wheels with around 8 - 9 psi. I seem to remember he PTK kits making close to 400 rwhp under 10 psi.

I have 3500 in hand, but i think i'm going to focus on forged internals instead of a turbo for now. It's gonna be a nitrous truck til i can save for this turbo kit

Look's like a nice kit.

What are the HP Gain's on a stock 5.4 with 300+ HP?

If you want to double the HP then you will need Forged Piston's and Drop the Compresion Ratio. You can get away with a de-comp plate between the block and head for moderate gain's.

Tried this out on smaller 2.0 Ford Zetec engine's and you will melt a stock piston if the HP is doubled.

so somewhere between 380 and 410 horsepower and between 470 and 500 tq? What type of modifications would I have to do in order for the engine to hold together with that much of an increase in power?

Engine will be fine (if the tune is good), your transmission will suffer.

Tires probably won't be too happy either. C'est la vie.

What would need to be done to the tranny and how much should it cost? Also what type of tires would be good to use if i was putting down that much power?
