x3 on the turbo xs bypass valve. Peak boost went up slightly but I gained some serious area under the curve with this valve.

Also, please stop going wide open with an FMU and 14 pounds of boost. You will hurt the motor eventually.

I pulled out of the shop and noticed the CEL on, so I checked the codes and it is throwing the P0174 and P0171 (left and right bank running lean), so I cleared the codes and ran it through the city with no return. I then drove it back across and got to a point where I could open it up again. The CEL came on immediately. I pulled it into a gas station checked and same codes again. I then pulled out the DiabloSport Predator and set the fuel richer two notches at the 3K+ range took it out to open it up again and no CEL.

It is still bogging at certain areas of the shift range including low end and high end. Should I just find another shop and have them install the 42# injectors, remove the FMU and dyno tune it?

The fuel pressure is 30psi at lowend with a -6 boost and raises to 80psi at 14psi boost. The A/F is around 14 - 15 steady.

Anyone in the Calgary area have a shop to recommend?

Desperately seeking power,

Mission

Get rid of the FMU. Install a bosch 255lph pump(madenterprise.com), 42# injectors, 90MM MAF and have it tuned. I am running this setup with a Lightning blower on my N/A and it runs great! I see 32# of fuel pressure at idle and 52ish at WOT. Your WOT fuel pressure is way high, not sure why, im guessing cause your trying to force so much fuel though stock injectors. 14-15 A/F is WAY to lean at WOT you will blow your motor if you keep going WOT. I see 14.7 at idle and 11.6ish at WOT. And TR6's are perfect with that setup. Im running those as well.

Thanks Z7What,

I have the 90mm MAF installed, the 42# injectors are ordered and the FMU will be removed and a 255lph pump installed. I will then have it Dyno tuned. I am not going to WOT until the work has been completed. I have been corresponding with the great support people over at DiabloSport to get a tune that will compensate for the 90mm MAF for now, so I can sleep at night until it is finished.

If you have the 90MM installed and its not tuned for then that one of your issues. You must tune for the 90MM. If its not tuned for put the 80MM back on. The injectors need to be tuned for also. Who are you going to have do your tuning?

I am working with DiabloSport through email on getting the tune right, but I am still throwing the "too lean" codes. I am at a loss.

You needa strap her to a dyno and have her tuned by somebody that knows what they are doing. FYI just cause somebody can tune mustangs that doesnt mean they can tune L's. Make sure they have tuned L's before.

tarajerame,

I ordered in the 42# Ford Racing injectors which arrived Thursday. I installed them Saturday & removed the FMU. I also installed the DiabloSport MAF.ia & currently have it on setting 3 which is running great! 1 & 2 were too rich & wouldn't run right.

I will have it dynotune asap & let you know.

Talking

Fantastic! I am going to try to get some youtube vids up. I videotaped all the runs.

It now has around the 500WHP and runs solid as a dream

I have the dyno sheets in the truck, but keep forgetting to bring them in. It is now a consistent pull throughout the entire range and sits at a steady 12.5:1 ratio.

Has anyone tried out the Granatelli 28-1697CP Coil Packs? I am now having a rough time starting, so I thought the ignition could use a boost.

He put it through a 1/4 mile simulation as well and it ran it in 15 seconds. I thought that was pretty impressive considering it's a 4X4 SCREW, heh.

Cheers,

Mission

Don't know anyone who's run the Granatelli COP's and liked them. MSD has a whole setup for the modulars though. Stock coil packs are fine for far more than your pushing though with properly gapped plugs.

justjames80,

Thanks, I have the plugs gapped at .35, perhaps they were fouled again while I was without a proper tune. I should change them before winter hits.

Here is a youtube of the Quarter Mile Simulation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zrSY_5g3lI

Cheers,
