TJ has a 97-03 Turbocharged 4.2L running 8 psi. From what I know there isnt anyone with a 04+ F.I. 4.2L. I maybe wrong.

Check v6power.net v6f150.com

Dont mind Raptor he's a tool! Welcome to the site!

10-15 psi?....do you feel like buying a new motor?? the motor is capable of handling that. you will probably have to replace pistons and all of that fun stuff. i would probably leave it at 7-8 psi, just to be safe.
on cardomain, a guy took the turbo off of an rx-7, hooked it to his inline 6, and set it at about 12 or 13 psi. he started it up, and it blew a hole in the head the size of a baseball, he said.

vortech does not make a turbo. unless u want to call their belt driven superchargers turbos :-P cuz they do look a little alike.

but no vortech makes superchargers only.

atleast the last time i checked thats all they made.

There is really nothing different between your 07 4.2l v6 and my 03 4.2l v6 aside from the body style and that mine makes a lot more power to the wheels.

as far as power.. its all in the tuning. u can run 8psi and only make 220rwhp, or you can run 8psi and make 275-295rwhp

i had a bad maf during tuning, pegging out at 250rwhp, tuner knocked me down to 220rwhp until we put an extender on the maf, so for a week i was running around with 8psi at 220rwhp. until we got the maf extender on it then we were able to bring it up to 275rwhp. Tuner said we could do a lot more if i wanted but he knew i wanted the safest tune he could provide me with.

oh and even if u go over 13psi (up to 15) which i doubt you ever will..........

you wont be super fast.

its not as easy as "alright ive got everything on here lets up the boost to 15psi and call it a day!"
