Track times.

Well just got home from the local drag strip. Took the good ol roush 150 out.
Ran it 3 times best with a 15.5 @ 88 with that crew cab pig.
The good news is we also took a 08 harley with a saleen superchager and raced all 3 times saleen bested 16.6.
very disappointed in the saleen numbers.
And I was running down the track with my heavy *** 22" wheels.
Also both trucks had 3.73 gears w/ limited slip.
Well time for some more mods need to get this pig in the 13's

Those times can't be right and if they are, both trucks need to go to the shop ASAFP.

well both trucks seemed to get traction. My 60' where 2.2 every time.
I'm running factory roush tunning. truck is stock except for superchager.
It was also 90 deg f out today.
The harley was also 100% bone stock taken off the show room floor
I was hoping to run at least 14 something. Does factory tunning suck that bad??

Cool

HI!... Ya your leaving some power somewhere. That seems kinda slow for a supercharged truck. My bone stock RANGER ec, 4x2 with 4.0L, 3.55, POSI, ran 15.5E.T. Give MIKE TROYER at call from TROYER PERFORMANCE. It does a ton of tuning for the ROUSH trucks.

My truck clicked off 14.6's with one in the 14.5's with the stock Roush tune. I also ran the 1/4 starting in 2nd gear due to excessive wheel spin with my 20's. I had 2.20 60' times in 2nd gear and 2.90 60' in first with a 15.5 time all runs where between 94-96mph trap speed. I am also running 3.55LS rear. You should be in the 14's with the stock Roush tune

Something seems wrong. I can see if you're having wheelspin but getting traction and running 15s and 16s? Are you bumping the limiter going through the trap? When I first got my Roush tune, with 31.9" tires and 4.10 gears, my top speed was 89 mph.

I need to get a boost gauge on it and make sure it's boosting properly. Also I just left it in drive, no manual shifting if that makes a difference. Also I don't feel the governor kicking in I went through the traps at 88 so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue.

do you have the intercooled roush setup? if so, then i would say something might be wrong. but the heat does kill these things. i have the non i/c roush and ran 15.3's with 3.55's, 22's and stock tuning. with troyer tuning and 4.10's, i am down in the mid 14's on the gtech , but still get bad 60' times (2.3- 2.4)

i agree that you SHOULD be in the 14's with a I/C roush, but who knows, maybe the heat was affecting it that much..

definately call troyer and think about regearing, you wont regret it

Yeah truck is a intercooled setup. I did talk to troyer ealier this week about some things. I'm definitely going to give him a call back this week.
My ultimate goal to reach would be 12.99 or faster.

Hold on a second while I get my flame suit on . Ready. 12.99? 12.99?
Are we not talking about trucks that weigh around 6,000 pounds?
My last trip to the track I saw four lightnings run. Three of the four were in the very high fourteens. The fourth was at 13.2, and it wasn't an Eaton blower. Granted, 2,600', warm and humid, but reality.
I think 15.5 is respectable with just a blower kit. Troyer will get you more!

I understand it's going to take $$ this is not strictly my daily driver. Eventually like to get a ported superchager and built bottom end. It would just be cool to say I have a crew cab pig that runs 12's.

Your 88 mph speed through the traps is pretty low as well... Sounds like there's some power left on the table.
