Custom Turbo Kit? Help!
well i got this idea from another member on this site and wanted to get some feed back on the idea..
He had thought about one similar to the STS kit but would much rather have the turbo and the air filter inside the engine compartment. He thought about placing the turbo inside the engine bay. Have a pipe travel up to the turbo from the factory y-pipe, then have the returning pipe with the exiting exhaust gases from the turbo to exit at any location desired. then having the intake hooked up, with the turbocharged air into the intercooler then the intercooler pipe coming to the throttle body.. Really basic. and simple.
MY concerns were about what turbo to use and turbo lag... if you have any light to shed please do.
