M112 project

Hi,

I have the chance to buy the following:

M112
Plenum
30# injectors
Stock pulley
2.8 pulley
MAF

I know I need the adapter plate and a programmer and tune. I just want to know what else I would need to adapt this blower to a stock 4.2L.

Thanks.

I don't see how this will work without some serious fabrication. It might be possible but I can't see it bein worth all of the hassle. The 4.2 is a V-6 and the 4.6 is a V-8 and it came off a vehicle with 32 valves. The intake is much wider and longer as well as very deep. The 03/04 Cobra lower intake is the same as a Mach 1 and identical as the 96 and up Cobra. I don't see how this will work but I guess anything is possible

Its can be done. Ive did it on my 03 v6 with the 3.8. Its a special UI adapter plate. With the plate you can bolt up any 99-04 supercharger. Just get a tune and your good. The bottom line is the m90 cant produce enough boost to make it worth your while. Your only gaining about 30hp with the m90. The m112 on my v6 mustang put me at 356hp to the wheels and 380 lbft of torque. I ran a 12.9 at a 115mph. Should have never got rid of it for my f150. But could afford any more tickets. So yes it can be done.
