Thinking about pulling the trigger

I've been thinking about getting an L-swap together for a long time now and I think I'm ready to get started. I found a setup on ebay and it seems to have all the normal parts plus those in mad mike's kit. What do you guys think of this kit, I'd really hate to drop a bunch of cash to buy it then realize that it's not going to work
Supercharger

Also, I know that the intercooler resovoir is supposed to mount on the fan shroud and remember people who had efans wondering what to do. I have efans too and was wondering if anyone knew what the protocol was for installing the intercooler resovoir.

Iv heard of cutting the stock fan shroud and putting part of it back in to mount the tank to.
Or you could fab up some kind of brackets to hold it.It's not very heavy.

Fan shround on L/HD is different than non sc in two areas, one its thinner so the fan which sticks about 2 innches closer will not contact it and it has provisions for the reservoir to mount. So yes if you go with e fans, don't need fan shroud. Woul think that reservoir could easily be mounted with homemade bracketry or the drivers side only of the L/HD fan shroud.

Does the $3300 include software for your PCM, if not than you need to factor that into the price. I did for less, but then I bought a lot of used parts and spent time finding parts, including On Line Salvage yards. Can not see everything in picture, but it looks very complete. Also, would recommend going with aftermarket lower pulley, plus caged puleey is PITA. Larger is better than smaller upper. This is a HD which has a upper pulley that only makes 6lbs of boost. L is 8-9lbs of boost. I went with +6lb lower. No problems as long as your not racing.

Enjoy!

Thats my stuff!

I ended up buying ANOTHER 5.0 Stang and have to sell this stuff. I'm going to toss a little Magnacharger on instead.

I bought a new OEM Lightning/Harley shroud, which is the large box in the pics.

I have both the stock caged pulley and stock size belt, plus the 9" ASP 6lb lower (4lb with the stock Harley upper I believe) and the correct NEW Gatorback belt. Some of the stuff was not needed, like the OEM brackets for the heat exchanger ($90+), the OEM shroud ($80ish), and both upper AND lower OEM heat exchanger hoses.

Also have a new stock replacement Lightning water pump that goes with it.

If some of the stuff is not wanted/needed I can probably work with anyone.

I wanted it to look 100% OEM installed and prefer to get stuff new most of the time. I'm really **** about my cars/trucks.

I wanted to change the BIN but once there was a bid I couldn't. It cost me $42 just to list it on ebay..doh.

I'd like to get $3300 but I'm flexible...someone BUY it!!!

OR...have someone else buy it for you as a present!!:santa:

At $3300, this setup is a steal.

The takeoffs rarely come up on E-bay any more so somebody is going to get a really good deal.

LOL. I'm only going to keep my 88GT I think since it's mint/original and 39k miles and selling the 93LX. I'm actually parting the 93LX out, already have alot of stuff sold including the S-Trim, powerpipe, 42lbers, chip, etc.

I don't understand wht nobody has jumped on this package.

Most of my customers spend between 35-3600 for all of these parts and never look back except to see the black streaks or the competition. Could be the time of year.
