I would think you'd want something a little smaller for that setup, especially in a truck. A PT-67 is good for something like 800 hp. You could probably do something closer to a SC 61 that would spool a bit quicker down low and produce plenty of power. I know plenty of guys with mustangs using the same sized turbo making well over 550 rwhp.

T76 would be huge, you can get well over 600 hp out of a 76, have a buddy that is getting 900hp out of his 6.0 chevy 1500 with no nitrous at about 24lbs of boost. I think it would be a but much for a stock 5.4 would def need to be rebuilt and tuned!

I've seen a few trucks with the t-76 on 4.6 and 5.4 stock blocks no issues until you hit over 12psi

I'd be willing to bet something a tad smaller would be way more fun to drive. I have a hard time believing a 76 is even close to its efficiency range on a stock 5.4 truck.

HUH? Turbo's take very little power to operate and are MUCH more efficient than a supercharger. Plus who the hell cares when you are gaining 100-infinite HP haha! Superchargers are the ultimate power eaters. I dont know what you are talking about with pumping losses, that is why you setup and tune it right in the first place.

Why put a t76 on there???? they take forever to spool up! A smaller turbo like the guy below me said is going to be way more fun cause you will actually have boost below 4000rpm!

A t-67 is the base turbo with the kit they use, the 76 is the "upgrade" option
