Supercharger with 35+ size tires?
Does anyone run a supercharger Roush or otherwise with 35+ size tires? If so has it caused any problems? Any suggestions if I do decide to go that router? I'm picking up a 2008 Screw FX4 here in a couple weeks and was thinking about the supercharger although I haven't seen many lifted trucks with them installed.
A fe wguys should chime in...Bigtruck just did it to his.
Tires don't really pose any additional problems, though IMHO you should re-gear (4.56 or 4.88) to help your tranny out, if you haven't already done so.
In fact, if you are running stock 3.55 or 3.73 gears, and are wanting a blower because your truck feels sluggish, I'd re-gear first. You'll uncover a lot of the power that those 35's took away.
