Tired of searching...4.6 supercharger?

Is there a supercharger offered for a 2006 F150 4.6? All Im finding are links and references to adapting mustang and older year model s/c's and such, but cannot find a single manufacturer of a s/c specifically designed for my truck. Anyone know where I can find one?

They've got them for the 5.4's... dunno why they don't have them for the 4.6l or the 4.2l... you'd better believe how many people with a 4.6l and 4.2l would buy one.

Go to a few of the major supercharger company websites:

Eaton
Vortech
Rousch
Powerwerks
Powerdyne
etc...

get a customer service phone number and call them. I'll bet they have options for you that they don't openly advertise. Advertising cost money, so I would guess most of that money is spent pushing their best sellers...i.e. the kits that make the most power, which is going to be the kits that go on the bigger engines.

Just my two cents,

Mike

Allen has them for the 4.6 2003-04 Expeditions. Don't know why they wouldn't have one for 4.6 F150s.

Contacting a manufacturer was my next step. Never thought about the advertising aspect, but I would figure that if any particular mfg'r had them they would at least list them on their website. That 4.6 is a dog and desperately needs some breathing room. Your advice is much appreciated.

I'm sorry to tell ya, the '06 4.6L is not a 3V. The 4.6 in the Explorer is though, rated at 292, the F150 is still rated at 231.
