Basic's of SC'in
Basic's of SC'in
So I have a 06 F-150 with the 3v 5.4L and I want to SC.
Just reading the majority of the thread here the basic thing I would need would be
tuner
bigger injectors
mass air
and the sc itself...am I missing anything..
yes I'm new to sc but theres no harm learning
I've been lookin at this one.

I'm not sure how I'd rate a centrifigal blower on these big heavy trucks. I do know that a posititve dispacement blower such as a roots or twinscrew will give you a lot of low-end torque to get the mass moving quickly around town and on the highway.
That said, for my 2006, I only needed the Trilogy kit. It included everything; tune, injectors, hoses, liquid intercooler, everything. The stock fuel pump was kept and is not needed.
I love it around town, a really nice power difference. And at the track, it turns low low 14's on stock tires/exhaust (14.1ish).

Next time I'm up there, we should get together and discuss the finer points of Trilogy products

Sounds good to me! Some brews and blower talk.. can't get any better than that.
30 mins due North and you're here.
Actually, my Mark LT has the same transmission as my Marauder does. I have just about 20k supercharged miles on the Marauder and it's pushing a lot more power than the truck is. The transmission is stock with no problems yet.
I'm a firm believer in a good, solid tune. A good tune will extend the life of the stock transmission for quite a while.
