That's one of those "it depends..." answers. Technically...no it shouldn't.
That being said you can almost bet that a dealership will try to void either your powertrain or emissions system warranties if not both if you bring it in for any reason even if it's obvious the supercharger couldn't have caused the failure. Read everything on this page: http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/magnusonmoss.htm and take the info for what it is worth. May have to get tough and shove a copy of this document under a service manager's nose to get something done. I've had to do this with my truck once.
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) .

I've had the dealership do warranty work on my truck after the supercharger install, but it wasn't related to the supercharger. I've also ran into the same problem where I had a common problem on the F150's (slip yoke clunk), and they wouldn't fix it under warranty because they said it could be due to the added power destroying the driveline (which wasn't the case). I took it to a driveline specialty shop and had it fixed in half an hour and a tenth the cost of the dealership.

This is a very good question/thread that i have been thinking about eversince i got my truck. But my main question/concern is-Inorder to not void your warenty does An authorized Roush or Whipple/Ford Racing person have to install the blower or can your install it yourself???????????
