supercharger thru the winter

Might be a silly ? but look'n for opinions. I live in Mass. and as you know it gets pretty darn cold in the the winters. Would the cold starts have any effect on a supercharged motor considering it's my daily driver? Anyone drive thru the winter S.C. ?? Thanks

MY charger makes some noise when it's 40 below but it
pretty much gets drowned out by the screaming of the power steering

This will be my first winter that I'll be putting my truck through as well with the supercharger. I'm a bit worried as I'm already pushing the horsepower envelope with what this engine can take, and the cooler air isn't going to help any. I don't plan on going WOT, but the RPM's can accidentally go up in a hurry when the roads are snow and ice for 6 months out of the year. I wouldn't be so worried if I parked in my garage, but I'm not done building it yet, so I'll have cold starts every day until I get moved in. Hopefully that will be before January and February when the real cold snaps hit.

I don't plan on going WOT
GOOD LUCK!!! I'm anxious to see 9#'s again. Since summer has come, all I see is 7 #'s, sometimes 8. Amazing what those other few pounds do

I was hitting 9.5 pounds on the dyno in 99 degrees California heat. With air flow on the streets, I'm right around 10. Cool it down 150 degrees and I might be able to see some crazy boost. I gotta get my gauges hooked up so I can at least take a look where I'm at now with it being 30-40 degrees out. I can easily feel the extra power when the temps stick around there during the day. I wish I could just keep pushing it, but I know there is a breaking limit somewhere, and I don't want to find it.

just watch your boost, its not the cold, but what happens when the air is cold and dense, if you are running 10 lbs in 80-90 degree heat and it cools to 40-60 degrees you might see 13-14 lbs and if its colder than 40 it may go up to 18lbs +, I swap out my pulley in the winter to prevent this sort of over boost condition.

I only run 6 psi on my superscrew (lightning set up)
and that is plenty for the skinny ground grips and cold pavement
it's cool feeling when you do a 4 wheel burnout though
