Installing a boost guage?

Is it easy to install a boost guage in a Roush supercharged truck? Is it plug and play or do I have to do drilling etc?

Thanks

Drill and tap the oil pan....easy!

Seriously though...yes...very simple. Install a vacuum "T" fitting on a major vacuum source then get a rubber connection tube to connect the supplied nylon tubing to the fitting. Here's a pic of my setup:

The topmost fitting is for the boost gauge. Simple stuff you can buy for a few bucks at any auto parts store. Don't know if the new style truck have a main vaccum line like this behind the battery but it gives you an idea of what to look for. Do not tie into a source line used by the EGR sensor or any other sensor for that matter.

Just a heads up..

Make sure the source is seeing vac and boost. There are some that may only show vac.

Look for a red vacuum line that is capped off thats what the people at Roush told me and it works fine. I used an electronic boost gauge.
