just recieved my vortech kit, used, few questions

for $1500 im not bitching, looks like the only things missing are the injectors and the programmer.

injectors are 39# cobra injectors from vortech, question is : should i just get those 39# ones or should i get something else since i am having to buy them anyway.

does anyone have good on-line directions or good pictures, tips on the install?

i will need a programmer with the vortech tune, can ijust call vortech,or should i just find a dyno and get them to do the whole thing for me?

how freely should the charger spin?i takes a little pressure to get it to spin and i can gear a slight dragging or somthing, its faint but i can still hear it.

My suggestion would be custom tuning with the Xcalibrator2. Have a look through the Chips and tuning forum. With the custom tuning you can use 42# injectors with a 90mm mass air meter. You will likely need to upgrade your fuel pump, not sure about your year. Ditch the FMU if it came with one.
When you turn the s/c by hand, you are spinning the gears which may have a bit of scummy oil on them, and the impellar so there will be a bit of resistance.
I would give Vortech a call for instructions, or visit their web site.

Your 2005 can't use the regular 42# injectors unless you buy adapter pigtails that switch the plug style, that's why it calls for the 39# Cobra Injectors.

as far as i can tell, everything is here minus the injectors and the programmer

just got a quote to do the dyno tune for $350.

came with a bag of nuts and bolts, all the major peices are here for sure.i printed the manual and parts sheet off,so we will see.

found a set of 03 cobra injectors for $130,freshly cleaned.so for under $2k i should be good.still need to get a pod and boost gauge though.
