I am having the dealer do my supercharger cause the truck only has 8,000 miles on it and the roush warranty will only be in effect if a roush approved dealer installs it. Basically when a Roush supercharger is installed FORD voids the factory powertrain waranty and Roush picks it up for 3 years 36,000 miles.

Should I wait for my factory warranty to run out first than install the roush?

 

WOW. They pick up the warranty for your powertrain. That would make me want to buy one when my warrranty is almost up. i guess Ill have to go to the website to check out the details.

 

Put it on now and enjoy it for the life of the truck.

My main regret is that I didn't put the blower on my truck (and swap gears) the day I got it.

 

HAHA, yes, not having a limited slip will kill your performance as far as acceleration goes. when you have that much power at the crank, in a truck with a bed that is light as hell, you will need it. i would check out getting a posi lock or something similar made by eaton, auburn etc...

how much does a roush setup cost from the factory. and can you find used ones, im a poor college student that is craving more power
