Removing ProCharger
Removing ProCharger
I am selling my 04' F150 SuperCrew 5.4 and am going to take the ProCharger off of it and sell it. I have upgraded the system with a 12lb. pulley, 42# injectors and a 3 core intercooler. All parts are in great working condition. I will also include the stock 9lb. pulley, the stock 2 core intercooler and a new(never been installed 90MM MAF sensor). Kit is complete with K&N cold air intake kit and DiabloSport tuner with 9lb. tune. I also have all of the original paperwork with install instructions. I have about 10k miles on this system as it was just installed last July. I am asking 3K plus shipping for everything! No problems with the pulley itself. Took truck to Dynotune in Jacksonville, Fl. and they dyno'd and tuned for about 6 hours and never did get a proper tune. Truck kept going into engine fail safe mode almost every time you got on it, so I put the 9# pulley back on it as well as the 9# tune and truck ran fine. As far as the MAF, any performance shop can get it for you. The one I have is made by Granatelli MotorSports.
I think the Lighning 90mm MAF gives the fewest problems...just basing this on what I've read in this forum and others. I haven't read about problems with the Lighning unit. Granetelli & Pro-M, I've read a few posts with trouble, but others with no trouble.
