Whipple 10psi dyno run video... 421RWHP, 466 RWT @90 deg F

Here's a video of the dyno runs and tuning from this weekend. Numbers might of been better if we weren't running in hell. Temps started at 90 degrees and kept going up, so the numbers kept going down. We tossed on an 1/8" smaller pully and had a good working tune for it, but it was just too much power without better gas and more engine mods. Put about 20 miles on the dyno in 8 hours and went through several tunes, and finally got her dialed in at 421/466 at around 9.5psi.

I'm packing to move back to Alaska, so I won't be on to answer questions for a while, but thought you would enjoy the video. Not bad for a big ol' heavy 4X4 supercrew on 22's.

Ain't gonna happen. Wish it could, but I just don't have the time. They have some drags back home in Fairbanks, so maybe I'll try and jump on that.

05RoushMarkLT, great numbers bro now IM the jealous one

brahmus, ive noticed that too on the 04+ s/c f150's... it seems the torque in comparison to hp is lower than compared to lightnings. the only things i can think of as being the cause is possibly the heads design, variable cam timing or electronic throttle.... i dunno...

It's the heads probably. They flow a lot more on top but that hurts torque a little bit in the lower end. Like comparing the Navi 4V 5.4's to the 2V's...lot more hp but only a marginal gain in torque. The 4V NA Cobras were always softer in the low end compared to the GTs. With my ProCharger I saw 477 lb-ft at 3500 rpms...didn't datalog the boost pressure though...maybe 9 - 10 psi or so.
