can i put a lightning supercharger on a 4.6l f150?

i was wondering if anyone out there has seen, done, or heard of somone putting a 2000 ford lightning, or one of the same style, supercharger on a 4.6L f150...now im almost positive that the lightning is a 5.4L and was jsut wondering how hard it would be to put the supercharger off the lightning onto my 4.6L f150... thanks for any help

Unfortunately, due to the taller deck of the 5.4 block, the Lightning manifold will be almost 1 1/2" too wide. However, If I can make a Cobra manifold wider to fit my 5.4, somebody could certainly do the reverse and make one narrower.

Nothing is impossible, some things are just a little more difficult than others.

What keeps the Cobra manifold from fitting the 4.6 truck engine?

If you install a 5.4 into your truck, then you can install the Lighjtning setup.

Will an Eaton M112 or M90 not fit in between the 4.6's heads? Or is it just the 5.4 manifold that's too wide?

the 5.4 head ports are wider apart (left to right) than the 4.6.. there is an Allen kit that uses a M90 for the 4.6!
