Solid Motor Mounts

Does anyone know if anyone makes these? Or at least an upgrade from the rubber ones?

I would call prothane or one of the other polly companies and see if they make a polyurethane mount. I would think the solid mounts would be overkill especially on a street driven truck, too much transfer of vibration.

I am finding that no one makes them. I am creating a set of limiter bars for it now. They can be easily removed for daily use and then installed for track use. I am finding that under a hard launch with the ET's on that it is really slamming the motor over.

HI!... I couldn't find anyone that made them either, so I built my own "TORQUE PLATES" about 2-3 years ago. Made them from 1/4 thick aluminum flat plate , chrome moly tubing with hime joints. My 5.4 was torqing over so hard on launching that I kept cracking the 45 degree angle CAT on both sides repeatily.

Back in the "good old days", we used a chain bolted to the head and frame, leave a little slack and it won't transfer vibration.
