Hehe, yeah. You need to download the Extreme Tune Software from the SCT website, get your .xtr file from your tuner and buy the cable to transfer the tune from the PC to the X-Calibrator. Once you get all that you can do some pretty neat stuff with your file. You can also modify your file and load three different tunes on the flasher to use as circumstances require

You have to down load the program FREE. Go to the PSP site and click on products/xcalibrator. They will link you to the website!!

Well, got the Xcalibrator in and wow it looks great put i don't know how it works because i have the wrong cable. the box has a female 9pin plug, the cable has the OBDII plug on one end and a female on the other end. Now under different circumstances, two females would be great but........for me no workky!! now i have to wait for the right cable. This is my luck though...no point in getting upset or impatient, always happens this way.LOL!

Did you get the cable for the PC too, or just the cable for flashing the ECU on your truck?

well got the correct cable in (next day aired) from SCT! Great stuff. My shifts are correct now but i just threw a set of codes P0172
P0175
Bank1,2 rich.
Which is funny cause according to my autometer A/F gauge this tune is leaner, and i don't smell gas in the exhaust anylonger. I'll get intouch with SAL and see if i need a dyno before we tweak it or if he/i can do something about it now! 400rwhp/500rwtrq................keep my eye on the ball and well see how close we can come!

I don't understand the rich codes. When I first installed my FMU I was running VERY rich and I never got a rich code.

Also when I first installed my MAF and 42# injectors, I used a funky MAF adapter for a Honda that was too small and it didn't run right. It kept my A/F gauge pegged in the green all the time, and if I gave it too much gas it would choke down and you could smell raw fuel. But I still never got any codes. Maybe my truck is just screwd up, lol.

well i threw a code when i got the original Superchip that was pig rich. after they made some changes it was better and didn't throw any codes. It was still rich on the dyno but this one doesn't seem like it should be throwing any codes. maybe i'll just clear them and see what happens, maybe she is still learning the new tune!

well cleared the codes and drove home about 600miles round trip and didn't throw a CEL until i got back here and the driving slowed down so it wasn't bad but it must be at idle. One thing i did notice was an increase im fuel mileage big time. almost 40 more hwy miles on the tank!!! I'm still waiting on SAL to get me my updated tune and off to the dyno!
