As far as I know, the PC system is not 50 state CARB legal.

We are drastically behind schedule, but we've been building multiple system all at one time as well as continuing our day to day operation so it's been tough finalizing each kit. We are currently working on:

05-06 5.4L 32v GT
2005 4.6L 24v Mustang
2005 6.8L 30v F150, F250
04-05 5.4L 24v F150, F250, 05' Expedition
03-04 5.4L 16v Expedition
02-03 5.4L 16v F150, F250
02-04 4.6L 32v Cobra 3300ax sc kit
99-04 5.4L 16v Lightning 2300ax sc kit
99-04 5.4L 16v Lightning 3300ax sc kit

This month, were releasing the following:
99-04 5.4L 16v Lightning 2300ax sc kit
04-05 5.4L 24v F150, F250, 05' Expedition

Next month, were releasing:
2005 4.6L 24v Mustang
03-04 5.4L 16v Expedition
02-03 5.4L 16v F150, F250

Currently in production:
02-04 4.6L 32v Cobra 2300ax sc kit
02-05 3.0L 12v Ranger, Mazda B-series

The 3300ax kits are behind schedule because of our supply of 3300's. Currently, all 3300's which have been limited, must go to our marine BO's which is pretty large at this point. Once were back on schedule with the marine systems, we will finalize and release the 3300 kits.

brotherdave,
We've been very busy building a system, developing a calibration that is truly leaps and bounds above anybody elses, including power, just look at the numbers, drive-ability is incredible, etc. We then had to pass emissions with an 05' as we would've had to test again for the 05' since it's LEV II LEV.

As for anybody that calls for me, it's honestly better to email me, dustin@whipplesuperchargers.com because I already have so many calls coming again, I can't handle them all. Looking for help, but it's not very easy to find. So if I don't get back to you, please just follow up with an email and I'll get back with you much faster. As you can see, I don't sleep and I'm still working!

Thanks,
Dustin Whipple

Ford is not, I repeat, NOT backing the Roush system for warranty. They will void anything they deemed the SC caused, same as all other SC systems. There is no legally binding agreement. Some dealers may pass failures under warranty, but Ford is not backing the Roush SC.
This is interesting since I spoke with three dealerships, and with Roush directly, I was told that the factory warranty is still good. Upon reading this statement, I gave a second call into Roush, and they told me that the factory 3 year, 36K warranty is still good... on the driveline only. The remainder of the factory warranty will be void, even on a brand new vehicle.

These dealerships better be careful with their marketing techniques or they will end up with some sizeable lawsuits on their hands. I'm sure they are going to use the same tactics to lure in folks for the Roush mustangs and foci as well.

Looks like I will be going unsupercharged with my new Ford since the warranty is the big issue for me.

The only way at this point that there could be a warranty still is if a seperate source is underwriting it. There are a few companies that offer what I consider a watered down warranty for $300 more which has more holes than swiss cheese.

I know for a fact that many dealerships install whoever's SC and do not void the warranty but this is at their discretion, not Fords. So if they say they will not void the warranty, get that in writing and you should be ok. You get it from somebody, I would be very interested in seeing this. Be careful of the wording. By law, they can only void whatever they deemed the modification caused. You can check out your rights at www.enjoythedrive.com.

Thanks,
Dustin

Thanks,
Dustin

FYI, I contacted Dustin about our vendor rules. He cannot promote his product or company on these forums without being an advertiser, per our vendor rules.

Hey crash,
I noticed in the pictures of the 04 with the procharger that it did not have the extra tranny cooler sitting behind the front bumber for the towing pkg. Seems like it would be in the way of the intercooler. Will installing the ATI force a removal or movement of the tranny cooler? (if so, talk about voiding the warranty for the tranny) And do we have any street prices on the ATI and the Whipple??
TIA,
Brian

Sent an email to Whipple and they responded that they are in the final stages of emissions approval, and should be ready to go in the next month or so. They'll also give you an anticipated price, and put you on an email list to notify when they come out.

Be careful on that ebay auction, it just seems fishy. No paypal or credit cards, and you could easily end up losing cash and not get the supercharger. I nearly got burned on an auction for a high priced camcorder that looked real similar.

....you made a bid didn't you?

If this is a valid auction, some new style F150 owner is about to get an incredible deal on a new supercharger kit!!!!!!
